Texting and online dating go hand and hand, so no resource rundown would be complete without a choice selection of where you can find love online. Who knows, we might run into each other…
eHarmony – If you’re not having any luck finding someone yourself, you should definitely give this site a try. Data from more than 44 million people can’t be wrong, right? Let them do the matching and you can do the flirting!
Fitness-Singles – Finding the right partner has a lot to do with how you like to spend your time. I LOVE sports, so this was a no brainer.
Apps built solely for text flirting – now doesn’t that sound like perfect practice? Some of these are fairly region-specific (for now), while others have taken over the world!
Nattr – Looking for just the right words? Let collective wisdom help with this super cool crowd sourcing app! A team of comedians and fellow users coach you towards the best answers. Probably the next best thing after my advice!
Textdater – If you’re in London, and you love to text, then you are going to LOVE TextDater, a blind date style app. Jon, the founder, is a friend of mine with a wicked sense of humor, a mean 140 characters and a great app.
LINKD – Another popular London-based app that not only draws a cool crowd but also suggests great date spots, the majority being personally picked by the founder!
HappyCouple – I love this French/American app that helps couples have fun and build a stronger relationship. It asks a series of questions and then lets you compare your answers. Perfect for any stage of a relationship.
A fierce online dating photo will get you in the door… and your new texting skills will keep you there! One of the first steps when searching for your ‘happily ever after’ is to get this right. Here are some fab places to start:
Hey Saturday – Saskia is an amazing photographer, but don’t just take my word for it, she was featured in TIME! I did a shoot with her in London and use her photos to represent myself and my brand (when I’m not a cartoon, obviously…).
I can text the pants off anyone (wrong expression…? nah!) but believe it or not, there are better people out there than me to write a dating profile. What I can do is recommend some true experts! It’s a special skill, combining copywriting, experience and an understanding of what triggers specific emotions in online daters.
Irresistible Dating – I have known these two ladies for years and they are model professionals when it comes to pimping your profile.
Having actually been a matchmaker and matched happy couples, I know it works. It is a great option for people who are too busy or frustrated with online dating and really want a serious relationship.
Mutual Attraction – The world’s number 1 matchmaker and a personal friend of mine. You know who to call!

- How To Make People Like You in 90 Seconds – I reread this book before every in person event. It’s that powerful, and that good.
