Do you know what he likes, or what he’s interested in? You could send him a photo or a joke or something like that. Or, if you talk to him in between class or after school and he makes a joke you can keep the joke going…
At the end of the day, he should be working hard to make you like him, so if you think he’s acting bored, give your attention to another boy who deserves it 🙂

Are you in the same class with him? Do you have some of the same friends at school? If so, start out slowly and just say hi when you see him. Make eye contact and smile. Unless he is super shy, he should pick it up from there and start a conversation with you. If the conversation stalls, bring up a common topic and ask him some open ended questions.
